What are Power Statements?

When presenting your skills to others, use concise statements that briefly describe the value you can bring to the organization. Highlight a strength you have, and show how you have used that strength to achieve results. This kind of statement is referred to as a Power Statement.

Task 1:

List 10 or more of your achievements/ accomplishments in your personal life and on your professional level.

1. Graduated from a famous university which is one of top ten universities in China, and got the diploma of architecture bachelor 15 years ago.
2. Helped the best architecture research institution in my hometown to assist the design as a volunteer for 2 years during the university education.
3. Achieved to get the job in this institution as an assistant architect after graduated from the university.
4. Upgrade from assistant architect to major architect after accomplished more than 20 projects in less than 2 years.
5. Owned a company with other cooperating company that used to be my costumer after working in the institution for 4 years.
6. Managed 10~15 persons team in our cooperation for more than 10 years.
7. Created about 880 different project designs include residents, offices, schools, hospitals and commercial buildings with my team during 10 years.
8. Serviced more than 600 various customers not only of commerce but also the government and charity society.
9. Researched over 1000 project lands trough over 8 provinces and more than 20 cities in whole country and aboard during the design progress.
10. Implemented 36 creative projects most of them existing and some on progress.
11. Provided customized building designs for over 660 customers which helped to increase the value of their land by 30%~200% in the last 15 years.
